Balanced Health is a multi-vitamin made from whole foods. People find they have much more energy after taking Balanced Health. Balanced Health is gluten free!
My personal experience is to take them in the morning for an all day energy boost. Julie takes them just before bedtime and she wakes up raring to go in the morning. Listen to your body on what works best for you.
Also, listen to your body when figuring out how many a day to take. For some, four a day works well, for others, one a day is plenty. Everyone has different nutritional needs. Learn to listen to what your body is telling you. If you can only use one product, Balanced Health is the one.
Dr. Jed Adamson formulated it to address a wide range of nutritional needs.
Here are some of the ingredients in Balanced Health and why they are there.
Barley Grass: Barley grass contains eighteen amino acids including the eight that are known the body needs. The body cannot produce these amino acids and so must come from either diet or supplementation. Barley grass contains beta-carotene and is a source for vitamin B-12. It also contains folic acid, vitamin C, and vitamin E.
Wheat grass: Wheat grass provides chlorophyll, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. It is often juiced. The vitamins include: beta-carotene, vitamin B12, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Minerals include: phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium.
Spirulina: The World Health Organization has hailed Spirulina as the greatest superfood on earth. Spirulina is a blue-green algae. It is a rich source of many B vitamins along with many minerals.
Chlorella: Chlorella is a single cell algae that is high in many minerals and vitamins. It contains calcium, iodine, iron, magnesium phosphorous, and zinc. It has ten essential amino acids. It contains vitamins A, many of the B’s, C, and vitamin E.
Alfalfa: Alfalfa means “Father of all Foods”. It contains iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, sodium, potassium, and silicon. Alfalfa has been known to permit rapid assimilation of plant matter. Alfalfa has the most chlorophyll of any plant.
Dulse: Dulse is a plant found in the sea. Dulse has all the trace minerals needed for people on a high protein diet. Dulse is rich in B-6 and B-12.
Beet: Beets have been said to help constipation and regulate digestion. Hippocrates promoted their use in binding up wounds. The AHA ran a study that said that beet juice would lower high blood pressure.
Carrot: Carrots are rich in minerals, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. Carrots are a great natural source of Vitamin A.
Rosehip: Rosehip contains a high amount of vitamin C complex. Not just ascorbic acid, but the whole complex.
Amla or Amalaki: Amalaki is an ayurvedic herb commonly known as Indian gooseberry. Ayurveda describes Amalaki as the most important herb for promoting cellular rejuvenation, immune function, and vitality. Brewers Yeast: Brewers Yeast is a great source for B complex vitamins. It is also full of minerals and co-factors needed for growth.
