A Lime tisane that tastes like lime gelato? Yum! Enjoy gelato’s rich history by brewing a cup of Lime Time herb and fruit tisane.  A juicy blend of herbs and dried fruits, you’re going to love this one!

Hot tea brewing method: Bring filtered or fresh cold water to a boil. Place 1 teaspoon of Lime Time herbal tisane,  8oz of water in the teapot.  Pour the boiling water into the teapot.  Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes according to your taste.  The longer the steeping time, the better the flavor as more fruit and herb flavor is extracted!  Garnish and sweeten to taste.

Iced tisane brewing method for a pitcher:  To make 1 liter/quart:  Place 12 slightly heaping teaspoons of Lime Time herbal tisane into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or fresh cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herbal tisane.  Steep for 5-10 minutes.  Fill a serving pitcher one quarter full with cold water.  Pour the tisane into your serving pitcher straining the tisane.  Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced herb & fruit tisanes is to increase the strength of hot brew since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.

Iced tisane brewing method for and individual serving:  Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tisane into a teapot for each serving required.  Using filtered or fresh cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz per serving over the herbal tisane.  Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add the hot tisane to a 12oz acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea.  Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving.  Garnish and sweeten to taste.  A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed herb & fruit tisane is to increase the strength of the hot tisane since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
